Harry Jerome Classic Announced for May 30th

38th Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome International Track Classic is Canada's longest-running International track and field event. In its 37-year history, World and Olympic Champions have thrilled spectators at the best track and field stadiums in North America.

The event honours North Vancouver’s 1964 Olympic Games 100m medalist, Harry Jerome and is hosted by the non-profit society Achilles International Track & Field Society.

Meet Directors, Kim Young and Vincent Doyle are expecting Canada’s best track and field athletes with international competition to strive to be faster, higher and stronger to meet the IOC standards now based on international rankings.

The Jerome Classic is introducing a new online method for coaches and athletes to enter the meet this year to comply with digital data management.

Athletes are encouraged to secure hotel reservations early as increasing tourism demands may severely limited accommodation options.
