287 British Columbia athletes storm earlier than expected the meet entry system one week before the deadline for participation ends on January 29th. Event chairs, Carl Savage and Fred Pawluk are finalizing plans with the Richmond Olympic Oval tp prepare the 200m indoor track. Co-host, Richmond Kajaks and the Achilles Track and Field Society founded the event in 2011 following the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Covid pandemic has created an almost 3 year hiatus.
