Just 0.2 seconds separate personal bests of the top contenders in the men's 800m set for the Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome Track Classic next Wednesday at Percy Perry Stadium in Coquitlam.
Guelph, ON's Olympian, Anthony Romaniw (1:45.60) is seeking the IAAF entry standard of 1:45.90 for the London World Championships in August. He will have plenty of help from Penn State graduate, Brannon Kidder (1:45.58), now representing Brook's Beasts and Hampton University's electrical engineer graduate, Edose Ibadin (1:45..87). They will be joined by Tyler Smith of the University of Victoria and Russel Dinkins of Princeton, NJ to make this one of the feature races of the evening.
The meet is a complete sell-out and no tickets will be sold at the gate.
