This multi- talented athlete continues to follow her dream after 20 years in the University of Toronto Track Club. She joined the club when she was 14 years old and in these 2 decades has had intervals of intensity in a wide variety of sports, like ultimate frisbee, alpine ski racing, triathlons and competitive road cycling. She became a certified coach in the alpine ski world but found that her real passion was running. After graduating from the University of Toronto with her engineering degree and working as a consultant in road safety engineering plus indulging in her smorgasbord of sport appetites, she returned to university to pursue both her PhD in performance engineering and running in the CIS (now U Sport). In 2015 she was named the outstanding athlete of the CIS Championships and athlete of the year at the University of Toronto. Later that same year she took the bronze medal at the 2015 Toronto Pan American Games. Last year she won the Canadian Cross Country Championships and the silver medal at the Pan American Cross Country Championships in Venezuela. She is seeking the standard for the IAAF World Championships in London this August. Last weekend in California, she recorded 4:07.70 in the 1500m, missing the standard by 0.20 seconds.
