Canada's outstanding athlete of 2016 moved closer to top form this weekend as Andre De Grasse of markham, ON got season's bests in the 100m of 10.10 in Guadeloupe and 200m in 20.14 winning in Kingston at the Jamaica International.
Last fall Andre returned to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles to finish his degree. Since january the triple Olympic medalist skipped the indoor season this winter to concentrate on his training in Phoenix, AZ.. He will head to Europe for the Diamond League before returning to compete in the 100m at Percy Perry Stadium.
