As 2017 comes to an end, the excitement of new horizons rise, as the promise of new challenges emerge in 2018. Sport is a metaphor of life, not only for our youth but for our golden years as well. The 8th Jerome Indoor Games presented by TELUS is the stage for 10 year olds to test abilities alongside of senior citizens, who well might be their grandparent. The event is set for February 3rd at the Richmond Olympic Oval. This iconic legacy of the 2010 Olympic Games, will provide the opportunity for British Columbians to demonstrate how physical activity can play an important part of our well-being. We all can take pride in our athletes who succeed as they strive for international honours but the greater benefit may well come to participants who adopt a lifelong passion for making physical activity a central part of their lifestyle.
TELUS has been an important partner in supporting this event for many years. The 8th Jerome Indoor Games presented by TELUS is living proof of the company’s “we give where we live” philosophy. TELUS’ support provides British Columbians with an experience to build awareness of their potential for physical activity both in their youth and senior years.
