Jenna Prandini of Clovas,CA will compete in the 100m and 200m at the Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome Track Classic Friday at Swangard Stadium. This NCAA champion and University of Oregon graduate, represented the USA at the World Championships in Beijing winning the silver medal in the 4x100m relay.
Jenna will be a threat to the Jerome meet records as her bests are 10.92 and 22.20 seconds for the 100m and 200m. She has signed a professional contract with PUMA. Canadian star, Andre De Grasse is said to have signed with PUMA for over 11 million dollars.
Jenna will be joined by Shai-Anne Davis of Richmond, BC in the 100m. She trains in Arizona with the Altis Group after attending York University in Toronto.
Tickets are $25 finish line, $10 general admission are available on line at www.harryjeorme.com. First event starts at 6pm with doors open at 5pm. Opening ceremonies will be at 7:30pm
