Jerome Indoor Games 300m record to fall of February 7th?

The Vancouver Sun Jerome Indoor Games will be held on Saturday, February 7th at the Richmond Olympic Oval. There will be a clash of  meet record holders in the men’s 300m as Trinity Western’s Nathan George takes on University of Victoria freshman, Nick Taylor.  Nick hold the Jerome Indoor record with his win in that event last year in 35.32.  Nathan holds the meet record in the 60m with his 6.91 seconds victory last year.

Nick graduated from Oak Bay SS last spring after he won the BC High School Championships in the 400m

Nathan George represented Canada at the NACAC U23 Championships last year in the 400m with a best of 46.69 when he was 4th in the Canadian National Championships. He ran 33.86 in the indoor 300m last year in Pullman, Washington.

 The meet gets underway at the Richmond Olympic Oval at 9:20am and over 400 entries are expected.

Tickets are $5 sold at the door.
