Shai Anne Davis from Richmond, BC is returning to the track where she emerged as BC high school champion not too long ago. She will race the 100m at the Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome Track Classic after moving to Toronto to pursue her academic and athletic career. She is part of the Canadian 4x100m relay team, which set the National record of 42.99 at the Moscow World Championships last summer in Moscow. See video here of Canadian team in Moscow. The 4x100m team is preparing for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland in less than a month.
Her relay teammates, Crystal Emmanuel and Kimberly Hyacinthe will compete here against a strong international field which US national champion, Jenaba Tarmoh, Barbadian champion, Jade Bailey and Ada Vdaya of Liberia.

Over 300 athletes from 21 nations will compete in the Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome Track Classic featuring the 60th Anniversary of the Miracle Mile presented by Northern Gateway on July 10 at Swangard Stadium.
