The road to London 2012 Olympics starts here at Swangard Stadium on July 1st with the Vancouver Sun International Track Classic as part of Canada’s inaugural National Track League.
Be part of the excitement and earn fundraising dollars for your club as well!
Our goal is a collaborative community effort of clubs working together to build the success of our sport. You can do this by promoting and selling tickets to this year’s event in your community. Not only are you directly helping promote track and field in British Columbia but your club is exclusively able to fund raise through this unique opportunity and make some money.
A general admission ticket is $10 and through our exclusive fund raising initiative, your club retains $5 of each ticket sold (with the other $5 going towards supporting the event). Clubs can order tickets in groups of 50, therefore ordering as many as necessary. (Click here for the Group Ticket page)
This Canada Day, Friday July 1st will be a thrill packed afternoon – an extremely competitive environment as our athletes and a great entertainment event for spectators. This will be a unique opportunity for metro Vancouverites to see Canada’s Olympic hopefuls challenge international fields in every event and to show their national pride on Canada Day!
