
Mason clears in 2.25m in Belem
Kelsie Hendry jumped to a silver medal at the Belem Grand Prix in Brazil last night. She jumped 4.30m in the pole vault 10cm back of Brazilian, Fabiana Murer.
Mike Mason had a narrow miss at 2.28m but cleared a Canadian seasonal best of 2.25m while Jesse Williams of Eugene, Oregon won in 2.33m. These two jumpers will meet again at the Vancouver Sun Harry Jerome International Track Classic on Sunday June 14th at Swangard Stadium.
Carline Muir moved to the top of the Canadian 400m runners with her 52.20 mark while teammate Adam Kunkel did the same in the 400m Hurdles with his 50.32 clocking behind the 48.36 time of Isa Phillips of Jamaica. Tyler Christopher ran 20.81 in the 200m for his seasonal best

Ruky to Jump at Jerome in June
Tabia Charles and Ruky Abdulai met a strong field in the long jump with Britney Reese of the US winning with a fine 7.06m with the Canadians trailing with 6.4m7 and 6.40m.
